Export 33 Xtreme 2010

The Export 33 Xtreme is back and bigger than ever with a $10,000 US cash first prize for Men's Ski first place up for grabs!

Some of New Zealand’s and the World’s best names in big mountain skiing and snowboarding are expected to descend on Mt Ruapehu next month for the Export 33 Xtreme skiing event, and the Mother Snowboard Challenge at Whakapapa.

New Zealand’s biggest prize pool of almost NZD 80,000 in cash and product prizes is on offer for winners of the events which starts on Wednesday 8 September and runs through until Sunday 12 September.

Mt Ruapehu’s Export 33 Xtreme is also a four-star qualification event for the Freeride World Tour (FWT) – four stars is the highest star rating for any freeride qualification event globally.

Whakapapa’s Pinnacles will play host to the extreme events and prime viewing for spectators will be from Whakapapa’s completed Knoll Ridge Cafe.

Marmot’s Geoff Small will be back again to vie for the title. Geoff’s signature aggressive and imaginative skiing style will ensure it is an entertaining battle to watch.

Marmot is proud to support the event again this year and wishes all competitors the best of luck!
