This tapered dome is “the best all-around two-person, three-plus-season tent we’ve seen for roominess, weather-resistance, and practicality,” our testers concluded after trips through the Everglades, Glacier, and Big Bend, where it stood up to 30 mph winds. Twin entrances make for easy exits, and the large vestibules offer beaucoup room for packs and wet gear. The mesh ceiling ventilated well on steamy, wet nights, but nylon side panels lower down kept wind and sand at bay during gusty storms.
