The unsung heroes of winter are the search-and-rescue dogs which stand ready to find and dig for people caught in snow-slides and avalanches.

Congratulations to MP Abbott and his wife, Alex, who are the lucky winners of the two spots on the Rafting New Zealand South Island Safari, valued at $12,600. Alex was so excited to be the lucky winner out of the hundreds of entries, but due to a back injury, Alex is unable to join MP on the trip so MP’s friend, Bevan, will take the second spot.
